Yahoo Messenger Beta 9 ~ Updated
A fresh new look for YIM, my favorite instant messaging program. Some useful new features & Vista compatibilty is what you get with this update. It’s still in beta, but very stable for the past couple of months. It’s been updated to v9.0.0.1389. A few bug fixes and a slightly altered look!
Portable Apps ~ Updated to 1.1

A cluster of portable applications that you can run from your flash / thumb drive have been updated to 1.1 The pack includes:
Canon iP100 Printer Deriver Update
There wasn’t much to the Windows’ flavors, but the Mac version had quite a few updates to the driver. Check it out here.
Denon Blu-Ray DVD-3800 Firmware Update
Denon has updated the firmware twice in the past 2 months for this player for disc compatibility. The DVD-2500 has also been updated.
Yahoo Go 3 Beta ~ Updated
Yahoo Go 3 Beta for most new phones is out. The big improvement here is the ability to remove any of the stock kit widgets & I’ve noticed a bit a of a performance increase over the previous version. For those that don’t know what it is, it’s mobile phone program that brings together quite a few widgets from Yahoo’s Information Technology sites & programs. This is my one must have application on my phone! I fully expect to see a game module or some sort of online casino module soon (hopefully not from Yahoo though). The possibilities are endless. Small update again today. The Cell positioning works now…along with my news threads. There are more recently used locations listed…before it was just 1. Also, it’s a bit snappier, but not much else new. Some windows mobile phones are now supported!
